At our dinner we planned to have at our friend's house, (who was also celebrating their son's birthday,) my mum didn't show any sign of what happened earlier. Slowly through the night, I myself soon started to forget about what happened. As the minutes ticked by, I started to forget all my troubles and just enjoyed myself as though I was in Singapore again. The food there was good as well, there was steak, pork, lamb, noodles, fried rice, sausages, and spring rolls. Not much, but it's the quality that counts.
When I got home I looked at what I got this year, I got a Rubik's Brain Racker, $100.00, "The Lord of the Rings" book, and a $20.00 Coles Myer Voucher. It wasn't as much as last year, but I did get more throughout the year. Everyday can be your birthday, just live everyday to the fullest.
